Users can launch ERC 20 Tokens on base via Common launchpad. (coming soon)
Communities are currently able to create their own Common space via a self-serve creation. This currently supports EVM, Cosmos and Solana tokens.
If you don't see your chain supported please reach out to mark@common.xyz or mullet0x on telegram.
Common offers a fully crypto-native forum as an alternative to web 2 alternatives (e.g reddit, discourse etc.) with full feature parity. Utilizing wallet logins for discussion and governance improves transparency, user experience and enables crypto native functions such as token gated discussions.
Communities are able to limit interaction via gating options. Token gate a variety of interactions native in a community by onchain and offchain credentials.
Example: NFT 1155, ERC20, SLP + more
Contests on Common are adaptable, community-hosted competitions that spark creativity and boost engagement by encouraging meaningful participation.
Community members can showcase their best ideas and submissions, and the thread with the most upvotes at the end of the contest wins the prize money set by the admin. Contests incentivize community contributions and offer a thrilling, transparent system to reward participation.
Contests are omni channel. They are currently available native on Common and Farcaster with Telegram and X contests coming soon.
We're excited to announce the launch of Progressive Web App (PWA) support on Common, a leap forward in making your interaction smoother and more accessible, especially for our mobile users and communities.
Commonโs Swaps Feature allows communities and users to swap tokens seamlessly via a Uniswap integration. This functionality empowers token holders to manage their assets, participate in contests, and meet community requirementsโall within Common.
Communities can connect a Snapshot space with their Common community with two-clicks. This integration will feed all past and present Snapshot proposals and enable voting and proposal creation via the community interface.
Templates allow participants to have an organized method to discuss common topics. Whenever a participant creates a post in that topic, the template is pre-populated in the thread draft.
Beyond onchain governance and Snapshot votes, all communities can add One-User-One-Vote Polls to any discussion thread. This helps serve as a temperature check devoid of token-weighted measures before submitting formal proposals.
Webhooks enable communities to automatically share specific content from their Common to other platforms such as, Telegram, Discord, or Slack.
Communities can integrate their own branding to maintain their look and feel. This currently includes custom domain. For support, reach out to support@common.xyz
(BETA) Within a community, admins are able to see how many users have joined, created threads, left comments, and been active on a daily basis.
