The Directory collects all of the communities created on any chain and presents them on one page for easy access and increased discoverability.
To use the directory feature first switch the feature on in Admin Capabilities โ Integrations page. Once switched on youโll be prompted to select a chain youโd like to index communities for. After clicking โSave Changesโ all of the communities launched on that selected chain will show up in Apps โ Directory and will be visible to everyone in your Common community.
This section of the integrations page allows you to add, change, or remove your communityโs token. Having a community token link to your Common community will affect 2 areas of the community:
Community Home Token tracker: In the โhomeโ tab on the left hand sidebar, a token tracker will appear of the selected token
Community Stake is way to move your community onchain, by acquiring a namespace for your members and launching a stake smart contract for your community. The community founder needs to activate Community Stake for your community, which can be done during the Community Creation process if it's available on the network.
Each community stake contract enables users to directly buy or sell their stake through the smart contract. The price is determined by a bonding curve, where it increases as the supply of stake from a particular community increases.
For more information on Community Stake visit the ๐ฅฉ Community Stake page here.
Communities that utilize Snapshot for off-chain governance are able to create and vote on Snapshot proposals via their community interface.
This integration can easily be added by admins in the โIntegrationsโ page within the Admin Capabilities tab. Simply click "Add Snapshot" and input the ENS domain associated with your Snapshot space.
Note: Multiple Snapshot spaces can also be added.
Admins are able to set webhooks via the 'Integrations' button in the Admin Capabilities tab.
Communities often use webhooks for sharing new threads/proposals to Discord, Telegram, Element, and Slack.
Clicking on the gear emoticon next to a specific webhook will allow the admin to specify what events should trigger the webhook.
Common community Admins can connect Discord servers that they are an admin of to their Common community. Once connected, admins will be able to notify their Discord servers whenever threads are published to select forum topics.
To add a telegram webhook, you must first add our Telegram bot as a member of your group. Invite this bot to your group: https://t.me/CommonWebhooksBot Once the bot is a member, promote this bot as an admin while keeping the default admin settings the same.
Then, in Telegram, obtain your group's id, by clicking info > share link. You will see a link like this: https://t.me/<your-group-id>.
The end of this url is your group id.
In Common, you will add a webhook link to the admin panel in the following format: https://api.telegram.org/@<your-group-id>
.
Webhook events will now appear in your TG group!
