# Merge Accounts

If you’ve posted or logged in with a new address and want to associate it with an existing account, this is what you can do. After this, the post history of addresses will be tied to one account

**Step 1**

You must be in a Common Community!&#x20;

**Step 2**

In the top left, under your profile please click the + Button&#x20;

**Step 3**

Procede to click Connect a new address

**Step 4**

Go through [Sign In Flow ](/commonwealth/account-overview/creating-your-account.md)

Step 5

Select that address in the Community&#x20;
