# Discourse Import

We are able to do a full migration of any existing Discourse forum. This migration will capture all upvotes and comments, in addition to the full existing forum.

### Discourse Export

Go to your Discourse admin page and click on backups. Click the backup button on the right to generate a new backup.

Download the backup once it is completed.

### Discourse Import

After downloading the discourse backup, email the file to <mitchy@common.xyz> with the subject "Discourse Import for \[Community Name]".
