Common Contests

What are Contests?

Contests on Common are adaptable, community-hosted competitions that spark creativity and boost engagement by encouraging meaningful participation.

Community members can showcase their best ideas and submissions, and the thread with the most upvotes at the end of the contest wins the prize money set by the admin. Contests incentivize community contributions and offer a thrilling, transparent system to reward participation.

How do Contests work?

  1. Admins create contests funded by community stake fees or direct ERC20 deposits, so you can use your own primary tokens

  2. Members submit contest entries as individual threads under contest topics

  3. The thread with the most upvotes, as selected by your community, after the set contest duration wins the prize!

Contests utilize modular voting mechanisms. The impact of a vote can reflect oneโ€™s personal support of a community, or be equal to ensure every participant has the same impact.
