# Common Claims

The Common Foundation is pleased to announce that claim registration for the initial $COMMON retrodrop is now open.

Eligible users can now register their claim wallet ahead of Monday’s retrodrop.

Claims are powered by **Magna** and hosted on [**common.xyz**](https://common.xyz).

***

### How to Claim

#### **Step 1: Register Your Claim Wallet**

Register your claim wallet at common.xyz/wallet

* As the $COMMON token goes live on Base, you must connect and choose an EVM-compatible wallet.
* If you hold a Genesis NFT and haven’t yet joined Common, you will still be able to claim by signing in with the address that holds the NFT.

***

#### **Step 2: Claim Once TGE Completes**

Claim directly at common.xyz/wallet once TGE is live.

* Onchain and under the hood, distribution is executed securely and gas-efficiently through our partner Magna.
* Initial registration and claims will be live for 30 days post-TGE.
* As you register your address, the system syncs every 6 hours with Magna.

***

#### **Step 3: Unlock and Build Common**

Claims will occur in two phases:

* The first portion unlocks at TGE, and the second portion unlocks after 6 months.
* This schedule is significantly shorter than contributor and investor lockups (which follow a 4-year vest with a 1-year cliff).
* Common will continue to reward contributors and participants who remain active post-TGE.

#### **Please note**

* Expect further announcements regarding both **claim registration** and **TGE**.
* Claims require periodic syncing between Common and Magna. Please ensure your connected wallet remains active and accessible.
